Villa Angelo in Motovun

Villa Angelo is an incredibly beautiful stone house located in the heart of Motovun. It was built during the 18th century and has been completely renovated and adapted to the luxurious habits of the 21st century man. The harmony of traditional Istrian stone, wooden beams and glass in this romantic interior is an atmosphere in which every true hedonist wishes to stay. The house has been renovated over three decades and is equipped with the best local and Italian materials. Each room is decorated with a lot of imagination, and the use of high-quality materials stands out in Istrian limestone floors, wooden, restored kitchen cabinets and a handmade copper bathtub.

Impressive interior and breathtaking view

Villa Angelo covers 3 floors and 200 square meters. On the ground floor there is a wooden kitchen with modern appliances and a rustic dining table, and a large living room with garden windows that lead to a loggia and a terrace that stretches the entire length of the house. There is a dining table under the loggia with wooden beams, and on the other side there is a large beach bed, ideal for sunbathing during the day and watching the sky at night. The panoramic view that you can enjoy from every corner of the terrace is truly spectacular.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms and three bathrooms, and you can find another bedroom in the attic. Each room is equipped with a double bed, while the one in the attic has two more beds. Every room offers a view of the mountains or the valley of the Mirna River. Villa Angelo’s exterior is just as impressive as its interior. From the overflow pool you can also enjoy a magical view of the Motovun Valley, and below it there is a Mediterranean garden of a mixture of plants, flowers and fragrant herbs, as well as another beach bed.

Passing through the gate at the end of the garden, you will reach the steam bath where you can enjoy aromatherapy and color therapy.
